Down Hole in the Rock Road, south of Escalante, Utah, sits a part of the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument. I've visited this area once before, in 2011, and it's an incredible wilderness area. On this trip, we visited four different slot canyons - Peek-a-Boo Slot Canyon, Spooky Slot Canyon, Tunnel Slot Canyon and Zebra Slot Canyon. Spooky Slot Canyon was too narrow (as in I was barely able to get through in points) and crowded (this day) to get any decent photographs, and Peek-a-Boo Slot was interesting, but there too much overhead light that made shooting difficult. Now, Tunnel Slot was relatively short and dark, but not particularly photogenic. But Zebra Slot - OH MY! - it made up for all of these slot canyons. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful!!!
